Paul J. D'Anieri is the current Dean of the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS). He started in this position July 2008.[1][2] D’Anieri received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1991.[3]
Prior to his position at the CLAS, he was the Associate Dean for Humanities at the University of Kansas. It should also be noted that he received his Bachelors degree from Michigan State University in International Relations. He then went on to earn a Masters and Doctorate in Government from Cornell University.[4]
D’Anieri’s research focuses on politics and foreign policy in the post-Soviet states.[3] He spent 1993-1994 in Ukraine on a Fulbright Grant[3] and has written a number of books and articles about the political history of Ukraine.[4]
